Shadwell is an area of narrow streets, churches, old docks and ships. There are a few nice looking pubs around, but unfortunately I haven't done my research well enough to recommend anything. Shadwell is a lot cleaner than its northern neighbour Whitechapel. It can be described as a mix of its neighbouring Whitechapel and Wapping.
