Brockley

Brockley is a quiet and small area between New Cross, Lewisham and Nunhead. This place is mostly quiet, but it has a few cool spots that are well worth visiting. This place is close to the areas that are gentrifying right now, so it may be that in a few years time, Brockley will become one of London's hot spots.

Drinking:
  • The Brockley Brewing Company's taproom is only open on Saturdays, but it's well worth visiting when it's open. They also sell their products in bottles to go on Fridays. They also sell beer in plastic milk bottles that local people can come to fill when the place is open.
  • Jam Circus is an excellent neighbourhood pub. They have a great beer selection and cozy atmosphere. The music is not too loud either, so it's a good place to have a pint and a chat with your friends.
  • London Beer Dispensary is an excellent local pub, where they serve Late Knights Brewery beers. Excellent place for a beer lover.
Eating:
  • Just Thai Thai is a small family run Thai restaurant. It has a homely feel and it actually kind of feels like you're at someone's home, because some of the decorations feel like they have been just put there without too much thought. The food is excellent, but be aware that the curries are quite spicy. Service was a bit slow, but if you have time, it's a great place to eat.
