Chiswick

Chiswick is one of the fanciest areas in London. Fancy cars, huge houses, designed parks and fine dining. Still, there are reasons to come here even with a budget. There are some excellent pubs on the riverside and some beautiful parks in the area. Remember to dress up if you want to fit in though. The riverside is great for running.
Parks:
  • Chiswick House and gardens is a beautiful park area with old mansion, pond, forest areas, classical statues and a conservatory. This is a great place to spend a summer day having picnic, or just walking around. One of the most beautiful parks in London!
Drinking:
  • One of the most famous London breweries, Fuller's, is here in Chiswick. They have their own pub, The Mawson's Arms, where you can get their tasty real ales in a nice environment.  The brewery also has a great shop where you can buy their products, wines, whiskeys etc.
  • The Black Lion is one of the nicest country pubs in London. Big yard, great beers, tasty pub food. They also have an old skittle alley. Fantastic place!
  • The Old Ship is a nice old pub with a nautical theme. They have excellent beers on tap and a large balcony and outside area to enjoy your beer next to the Thames.
Areas around Chiswick: HammersmithBarnes, Kew, Brentford, Acton
