Haggerston

Haggerston is a small area between Shoreditch, De Beauvoir Town, Dalston and Hackney Central. It's a mix of all these areas. It has definitely gotten its fair share of cool bars, pop-ups, and cafés. There are also some pleasant parks and walks. Haggerston is a somewhat typical East London area in that sense. This area has an industrial history which can be seen in the fairly bleak architecture in the area.

Drinking:
  • The Fox is a great place for all you beer lovers out there! They have an impressive range of cask ales and craft beers. Not to mention all the bottles. Great selection of hoppy ales and interesting tastes from kiwi-ale to smoky porters. The place is very atmospheric and you can also get food to go with your drink. The prices are a bit high. There's also a roof terrace.
  • The Haggerston is a nice pub with excellent beer options and cozy brick walls. They also serve pizza and you can even get good deals to buy German beer and bratwurst!
Parks:
  • Haggerston Park has beautiful architectured areas, sports fields and wooded paths. Great place to spend a day outdoors!
Shopping:
  • Love Vinyl is a small record store selling mostly soul, house and techno vinyls.
 Cafés:
  • By the Bridge Café is a nice little cafe right next to the Regent's Canal. The views are great and you get a nice cup of coffee or delicious cakes with the view.
