Shopping:
- On Baker Street, there is The Beatles store, where you can buy everything in The Beatles theme. Lunch boxes, posters, records, tea kettles, mugs and t-shirts. Worth a visit for all the Beatles fans.
- On Baker Street there is obviously a Sherlock Holmes museum. A replica of his home. This is for all the Sherlock fans out there.
- Nagoya is a terrific Japanese restaurant serving delicious sushi and hot foods as well. Not very cheap but you pay for high quality and delicious food.
- Roti Chai is fairly cheap compared to other places in this area. They serve delicious Indian street food. You can add a few different small meals with a price of a main, which is great if you want to experience and have different things.
- North of Marylebone is Regent's Park. Highly organised gardens, ponds and football fields. This is one of the nicest parks in London.
- In the corner of Regent's Park there is London's Central Mosque with its impressive dome.
- Marylebone really isn't the best place to find nice pubs, let alone bars with good music. 229 is a music venue underground, which is surprisingly cozy for this area. They even have quite good bands performing from time to time. The ticket prices are also quite affordable.
- The Phoenix is a great pub/club. Downstairs is reserved for dancing and there's usually a small entrance fee. They host great soul and rockabilly dance nights.
- Although it's a chain cinema, it's a small chain cinema with interesting selection of films. Everyman cinema is cheaper than your average Odeon and you sometimes get great independent films here. There's also a small café/bar for snacks and drinks.
