Richmond

Richmond is a wealthy neighbourhood with beautiful parks, houses and cafés. The Thames riverside and Richmond park make you feel like you're in a small country village away from all the noises of the city. Good place for outdoor activities and overly cute coffee or tea moments.

Parks:
  • Richmond park is a huge park with large fields, forests and gardens. There are supposed to be deer there, but I didn't spot them. Maybe I should've gone to the deer pen, which is marked in most maps. From the park you have great views to City of London looming in the distance.
 Cafés:
  • Tide tables is a beautiful café built in an arch under the Richmond bridge. Enjoy good coffee and cakes and watch boats on the Thames.
Shopping:
  • Raygun comics is a place for all you nerds. It obviously has a lot of comic books, but also a lot of The Simpsons and Futurama merchandise.
Areas around Richmond: Twickenham, Isleworth, Kew
