Neasden

A suburban area near Wembley with rows of victorian town houses and a magnificent Hindu Temple and an Ikea. This is already deep in London suburbs and there's not much to experience here apart from the hindu temple.

Sights:
  • Neasden Hindu Temple is a magnificent hindu temple, which you can visit for free. You can't take your camera inside unless you're a hindu yourself. The decorations in the main praying area are fantastic. If you want to enter the museum, it costs 2 pounds. They're claiming for example that plastic surgery was invented by the Indians thousands of years ago. In gift shop you can buy a lot of India themed things such as yoga books and Indian cook books.
Shopping:
  • One of London's Ikeas is here.
